On Thursday, 12th December, Abstract Group had the pleasure of hosting the very first Channel Connect event at our headquarters in the heart of Leeds. This milestone gathering brought together MSP professionals from across the UK to network, learn, and explore innovative solutions that empower businesses to grow and thrive. 

The event was designed to showcase cutting-edge advancements in AI, cybersecurity, cloud communications, and networking. It also provided a platform for attendees to connect with like-minded professionals and industry leaders.

The day kicked off with a networking lunch, providing an opportunity for MSP professionals to connect, exchange industry insights, and build valuable relationships. This was followed by a series of engaging tech talks.

Precursor Security 

Highlighted their 24/7 Security Operations Centre and their Bring Your Own SIEM (BYOS) service, offering a comprehensive approach to cybersecurity. He also demonstrated how Precursor’s Threat Intelligence platform, combined with both offensive and defensive capabilities, provides a robust solution for businesses looking to stay ahead of evolving cyber threats.

Tinkle 

Discussed the latest trends in enterprise voice, covering Tinkle's cloud communications platform, Tinkle for Teams (a fully certified managed direct routing platform), and Meeting Insights (an AI-powered meeting application). He explored how these solutions drive productivity, enhance collaboration, and improve business operations.

Evolving Networks 

Provided an in-depth discussion about their Ultimate Internet product and Network as a Service (NaaS) offering. They explained how multi-link, always-on connectivity, prioritised for business applications, can create high-bandwidth, high-uptime solutions, and how this secure, customisable network solution is tailored to meet the needs of demanding users.

Introduced their “Trust No File" security platform, a game-changing approach to cybersecurity that ensures every file is treated with caution until proven safe without slowing down data ingestion or causing process delays. This proactive security method provides advanced protection against modern cyber threats, ensuring a higher level of security for businesses.  

To close the event, attendees gathered at Salt Calls Landing for complimentary drinks.
