How We Built Bonds Beyond the Office
Since last year’s Abstract Group India team-building trip, our engineering & delivery team has doubled in size, as we look to scale our operations to support an increasing demand from customers, old and new.
With so many new faces, what better way to strengthen our relationships than by bringing everyone together for an unforgettable retreat in Goa?
A Trip to Remember
The adventure began with a welcome dinner, where team members - many meeting in person for the first time - got to connect beyond Teams! We spent the evening at the incredible Southern Deck, indulging in delicious seafood late into the night - just as Goa is meant to be experienced.
Over the next few days, the trip was packed with a variety of activities designed to challenge, energise, and inspire including:
Kayaking Experience – A true test of teamwork and coordination as we navigated Goa’s scenic waters together.
Awards Night – A special evening celebrating everyone’s hard work, where our CEO, Minan Majid, along with Elma Slakovic (Agile Delivery Manager) and Rashmi Mechineni (Senior QA Engineer), presented awards and shoutouts to recognise outstanding contributions.
Including:
Mallika Ganesh Prabhu – Recognised for her outstanding work as a Backend Engineer, earning great feedback from the customer and making valuable contributions to the internship program.
Sachin Charles – A standout for his exceptional automation skills on our clients desktop project, demonstrating dedication and expertise.
Guru Moorthy – Made a strong impact on client delivery, delivering on both backend and frontend tasks with efficiency and skill.
Shraddha Nimbalkar – A quick learner in our client project as an Automation QA, known for her proactive approach and commitment to quality.
Swathi Kadavatheyil – Recognised for her excellent work on our leading SaaS clients project delivery, seamlessly handling full-stack development tasks and driving key initiatives forward.
Suruthi Raj – The pillar of our legal customers project, always reliable and supportive, playing a key role in developing the team and consistently going above and beyond.
Water Sports & Leisure –
Whether soaring above the waves while parasailing, speeding across the water on a jet ski, or simply relaxing by the beach, everyone had the opportunity to unwind, recharge, and take in the beauty of Goa at their own pace.
